Interviews always scare us. We tend to get anxious, scared, nervous and end up feeling nauseous and spoil the interview. Here’s a list of few Do’s and Dont’s that you should follow to make crack your interview and make it a memorable one.

• Never Fabricate your CV
We should always remember that the people sitting on the other side of the table are way more experienced and smarter than us. They can easily identify the exaggerated parts of your CV. So, never make the mistake of fudging your CV. Just be honest.

• Ask questions
Don’t just keep talking like an answering machine in front of the interviewer. Always keep few questions handy with you and put it in front of them but do not argue. This will make them believe that you have studied about their company. At the end of the interview, do ask for a feedback irrespective of your interview being good or bad.

• Be honest
Don’t try to beat around the bush when you cannot answer something. Just say that you don’t know. People appreciate honest employees rather than those who make stories and this is checked during the interview.

• Don’t be sluggish
Be firm! Don’t walk and talk like a couch potato. Shake hands firmly. Sit straight, maintain your posture. The interviewer should not feel sleepy by looking at you.

• Smile
Smile often. Don’t be too serious while the interview is going on. Try to keep the environment as light and lively as possible. Look at the interviewer while talking. Talk of good things and never badmouth about your previous employers.

• Keep your gadgets aside
Never ever commit the mistake of keeping your mobiles and other gadgets on general mode. Your phone shouldn’t ring in between the interview. Give utmost importance to the interviewer and not the phone.

• Speak well
Whether the interview is in English or any other vernacular language, speak properly, speak fluently. You should prepare yourself well with the language and speak confidently without fumbling.
